Savium Apis is inspired by the oracular traditions of Delphi and the seership that was recognized as not accessorial, but intrinsic to the ancient world.  The Melissae, or bee priestesses, served a community who sought their energetic efforts for guidance, counsel, and wisdom.  Bees in nature were observed working together to build and protect their hives, to travel outside their intimate realms to engage with the natural world, and to bring back what they gathered to make honey.  The yield of their labor—a golden sweetness for the benefit of all—is the product of an elixir made by the passing of nectar from the mouth of one bee to another.  Each bee’s unique signature is imprinted upon the substance before being given to the next bee in a continuum whose blueprint has survived for millennia.   

The ancient Romans had several words for “kiss”; the Savium being the deepest kind.  Savium Apis, then, is the Latin translation for “Kiss of the Bee”.  It is through this work of giving voice to spirit that we hope to imbue you with the discovery of your own power, in hopes you will take it into the world and in your unique way, do the same for others.  We are honored to commune with you in our path of service to the realm.
